I was finally able to confirm that Newhall Office is still using 773.53125 for their base extender. This used to be tagged as CHP Base 1, it now shows up as CHP Base TAC 1 in the database. So the changes the new information portends are likely to be happening at the usual (slow) CHP pace...

Same traffic that's been on there all along - it repeats Southern Tan like the rest of the extenders up here do... 8*) And no, it's definitely coming from the office.

Chp border indio mobile extender

I heard and saw a CVPI interceptor on 769.16875 NAC DAD , using the mobile as a mobile extender to dispatch. This confirms the RR database is correct. Nice and clear compared to the old vhf freq., the audio did sound like digital.

Had a visual on two units working a TC in the Sepulveda Pass construction zone this evening - a B&W, and an all-white (commercial?) - one of the two was repeating Southern Teal on 774.53125 ("Base Extender") with an NAC of $296
