CHP Bue channel testing

Have been hearing some testing activity the last couple of days on CHP Blue (pl 179.9).
Sounds like Radio Service is tying in CTAC (city tac) on an 800 system and UHF Clemars
into the low band system. Probably has something to do with the Potus visit next Saturday I think? Norm.

I heard "radio service" tests on CLEMARS GOLD-4 (460.0250) just now also. Using a PL of 127.3.

I didn't hop on the new TRS soon enough to see if it was being patched through though.

I would like to see CLERS NorCal patched into Sac County hotline. That would create a blanket inter-operability at both fronts, for the dispatchers and the field units. But that's a pipe dream.

im down in bakersfield , and the blue (42.340) has been very active as well , not with testing , but regular chp radio traffic.

I heard someone working on the 800/lowband/CYTAC patch, talking about a lowband Kenwood...he kept calling it a "POS" on the air. Would've been fun to know who to call and give him a pucker moment for a complaint.

I would imagine since Sacremento is the capitol thats where they would test..
