Still there

They are still there. Check between 42.12 - 42.88 MHz for CHP offices in L.A. County.

B = Base
M = Mobile

To hear the dispatch, listen to the base (B) channel. To hear the CHP unit, listen to the mobile (M) channel. Note: you need to be within approximately three miles, depending on terrain and atmospheric conditions, from the CHP unit to hear the mobile (M) channels or the mobile extender channels.

Attached below is my CHP - Los Angeles for Uniden UASD .usd file for the BCD396T. I live in the San Fernando Valley, so it is tailored accordingly.

Peach does not exist?

Hello. Have you ever heard anything on the Peach channel of 39.34B/42.36? 42.36 is the Base channel for Teal West Valley. Thanks in advance.

I know that they're still on - I get them most afternoons here in Wisconsin on 42.4600. LOL.

Now if that pesky old Atmospheric E - layer would just go away...

Not since I got my Uniden BCD396T. I have it locked out. I have not been Downtown recently.

I made an error. It should be 42.26 MHz (Peach-1 M).

Ch 174 is correct for LAPD radios.
