I am looking for CA. Highway Patrol freq's. My son and I will be driving his vehicle from Southern CA. to Iowa before his Marine Corp deployment, and being a former state trooper, now a city cop, I would like to scan the highway patrol freq's if possible.

Dude, for real. You've posted the same thread in 7 states forums. You've been a member for 3 years and don't know that all that information is compiled for you already in the database without the need to ask the same question over and over? Go to the top, click on Database and go from there...

That CHP I10 map is very cool. Thanks for putting that together.
I was also hoping to get a more local response of what freq's to listen to than what was listed. Normally others will a more updated list of active freq's. I'm sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes.
Maybe then you need NOT but CHP in the headline.
