You can also plugin 39.88, 39.26, and 39.68 if you are in the Riverside and San Bernardino areas. I know that 39.260 has great coverage, I was hearing it all the way to state line.
And if you're heading up there via Hwy 14 or 138, listen to the Tan 42.42 (base) / 42.84 (mobile) going thru Antelope Valley; from Bakersfield (still "So Cal"???) it's 42.50 (base) / 42.82 (mobile) over Hwy 58 toward Tehachapi.
Dont forget that the Mojave Area Office, which covers the desert or east portions of Kern County are on Gold (42.12 Base, and 42.20 Mobile) and dispatched by Bishop. You would hear these units from about Keene eastward over Tehachapi Pass and all the way to Boron on State Route 58.
dont forget about the blue, 42.340/42.180
also the brown is 42.500/ 42.820
not 42.520,
also listen for the chp aircraft as well
also monitor the turquoise 42.600/42.020 , if near the 138 fwy.
