CHP Golden Gate = DOJ ???

Anyone know why CHP Golden Gate base (not sure exactly which station) was being broadcast over DOJ Primary (154.68 PL 94.8 )? Just curious. Never heard that before. Was listening between about 1630-1700 4-15-05 (although was probably happening before and after that as well).

This doesn't answer your question but you would be surprised what the State can patch together in their system. It can often be done over the air on CESRS too.

That happens in L.A. and Orange Counties sometimes too, not on 154.68, but on other channels. It may be that a wrong button is pushed in error, or that one dispatcher is on a break and another takes over on multiple channels for a short time.

Hmm...didn't know the systems were that interconnected. I can see that being the case here (accidentally flipped a switch or something similar).
