Does anyone have a state map with not only the CHP offices "mapped out" but also the local beat for each office? I'm sure between all the maps out there, that this has been done by somebody!

Mods: Please move if here isn't right for this...

That's the map I like, now if only that could be done for each "Metro" area in the state and then a "statewide" map as well...

I was never really able to get any exact beat boundaries, but the beats in Marin go geographically south to north in ascending order, starting with 34-10 at the golden gate bridge and working their way up to 34-80 at the Sonoma County line. 34-40 or 34-46V (commercial enforcement?) covered hwy 1 and West Marin, and 34-115 was I-580 from San Rafael to the Richmond Bridge. Also each beat was really two beats (one for each direction of the freeway) so you often hear "34-20, beats 20 and 120 are clear." Edward units were bridge detail.

Hope that helps. :)

Thanks! I already knew most of that since I'm from Marin too. I know 34-37 is the officers for SR-37. Always wondered about the exact beats. Maybe they have an internal map somewhere...
