Yet another vehicle related officer death. What is this world coming to. Offc. Brent Clearman, along with the rest of the law enforcement community are in our thoughts and prayers.

I will definitley keep that officer's family in my prayers. It's always
a terrible and hard blow to the heart any time a law enforcement
officer or firefighter dies in the line of duty. My condolences to the
family. May the Brother Officer's in California apprehend the perps
and justice be done.

jesus! another one???

thats really creepy, because last night i was at a chevron station, and some chippies pulled up and as they went in i said "thanks for being out there guys, stay safe", and for once they looked at me and said "thanks man, you too, that really means a lot".

most times they just nod and don't even say anything.

that's terrible.

I was actually going southbound 880 yesterday in that area and saw a couple CHP officers in jeans and blue jackets. Now I know what they were doing. It always hits you right down in the gut when you hear about another end of watch.

Yesterday I heard the CHP dispatchers here in Sacramento declare a moment of silence in honor of the fallen officer. This was on CHP Gold (42.120), Black (42.460), and OCAPS (460.375).
