CHP pursuit Monterey County

Heard an hour-long 90 mph pursuit by CHP that ended a few minutes ago, some guy on 101 SB near Salinas, they used two sets of spike strips, he ended up driving 20-25 miles @60mph on his rims - had no idea the wheels could handle that stress. Then one CHP unit asks permission to do the Pit maneuver, he does so and it all ends - they had a helicopter as well. Guy is now in jail. I did not hear the original want, no clue. I will try to extract the best parts of the audio later.

End of pursuit was King City...

I thought for sure once the spike strips blew out both front tires, it would be over... but it continued for another 20 minutes or so. CHP also had other units trailing the chase to pick up the junk that was falling off the guys car. It all ended with no one hurt, which is the goal. Good work CHP Monterey.
