Is CHP Sacramento still using the low band or have they switched to the CRIS system. South Lake Tahoe area?

In Sacramento, it appears that they are on CRIS but are repeating most traffic back to low band. It looks like the intent is to do this with all channels in the Valley division, but I don't know how quickly. I don't know about SLT specifically.
CHP is on lowband now for Tahoe. If you don't have an outside antenna or a mounted antenna on your car you not hear CHP at all in that mountainous terrain
