I heard them talking about it tonight that they were going to turn on encryption in a couple weeks.

Interesting you caught and recorded initially them complaining about public hearing personal talk over a primary system channel or talkgroup and complaining they can't say anything. Now I could see if they had a complaint of swat is being monitored or ert but to complain about people hearing what he said about his paycheck and his wife finding out through a friend listening to a app is completely redundant and his fault anyway. Looks like they plan to go full silent on ya there. If they are abusing it now or were prior to being secure I can only imagine what it'll be like when nobody can hear. Seems they have a training issue to begin with on the radios and proper use. Unfortunately for some it's happening. I find it unprofessional he says people need to quit being cheesy and rats. So there going due to 2 hiding and talking about personal spending habits on air and trouble with the wife? Hmmm. Seems they have more time on hands then actual policing. Funny he says talk about big brother watching geeze.

Listening to your feed that entire county needs public safety re training. They had a pursuit and it sounded chaotic. The suspect wasn't secured left sitting in car. Crazy and he then jumped back in drivers seat and took off hitting a officer then hitting a pole taking out the power. They really need re training by listening to that county. Now I can see why they want to be secured. I'd say barney fife has more Leo experience then them.

I would be very surprised if it is anything more than the built in digital voice scrambling.

No surprise they are trying to keep the public from listening. That was their intention when they went to this system. They thought no one could monitor nexedge.

What a security breach that was. That is the worst failure in communications security, when everyone thinks they are secure and they're not.

So what is the outcome? I just thought about it but was this the same Christian county where they had officers involved in the street hustling shop back over twenty years ago? Then two last year being found guilty in murders at that adult massage hustle business? Hmmm
