Hey Everyone,

I noticed today that Christiana Care Public Safety (451.600) is no longer monitorable...at least I haven't been able to pick it up from the Newark area. I knew that there was talk of the department getting a trunked system. I wasn't sure if they had started to implement it already and that was why I haven't been able to monitor it. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I believe that CC Public Safety has it's own TG on the Delaware State TRS; I don't know if that's an operations TG or a patch to the PSAP.

BTW, is "constable" their fancy way of saying security officer? On my side of the border, a "constable" has similar responsibilities to a sheriff's deputy, only constables work out of the district courts.

That is strange. I heard them this morning as usual from I-95 and Rt. 1.

The LTR system is not fully on line as of this time. You can monitor CCHS TG on the State System TG 10768.

Re:

Hey Everyone,

I was talking to one of the CCHS public safety employees and I learned that approximately (2) weeks ago, they implemented their new trunked radio system.

Any chance anyone has a trunking file set up for the PRO96?

Thanks!

Yes, the system is online. I stand corrected. I cannot monitor the LTR frequencies from below the canal.

NO chance at all. The PRO 96 does not track LTR systems. You can monitor the system conventionally but with annoying squelch noise. Here are the frequencies:

Call Sign: WQDJ379 IG-Industrial/Business Pool, TRUNKED

451.3250
463.6125
464.0500
464.8375

It is a 4 Channel LTR system. The LCN's will take time to determine. Once the LCN's are figured out, a LTR Trunking capable scanner can track the system.

Re:

Thanks for the information Dave.

Had a few more questions...

When you say that I can monitor it "conventionally but with annoying squelch noise," what do you mean? Can I just plug the frequencies in and the scanner will stop when someone keys up like the old days? Or are their ID's and such like the digital system?

Or will I have to keep hitting the scan button to follow a converation?

What is an LCN? Is that like a control channel or an ID like the digital scanners monitor?

Since there are new frequencies, I am assuming that their old F-1 (451.600) is now abandoned?

Thanks for the info!

You answered your own question.
What is an LCN?
Please read this THREAD for the answer.

Btw, for the DB Admin, LCN 15 is 464.8375. Still working on other LCN's.

This seems like a stupid question, but if there are only 4 freqs, how does 464.8375 have an LCN of 15? Bear with me, but the only LTR system that I have even a remote familiarity with is the infamous Chester County Multi-Net system...

Regular LTR Systems don't have a sequential set of LCN's and in most cases skip LCN's. The LCN's can be any # 1-20. There is no set order. I regularly monitor BayComm based in DelCo PA which has a LCN order of:

LCN 1
LCN 5
LCN 9
LCN 13

CCHS Constables use LCN 15 464.8375. The TG is 0-15-001.

Hey Guys,
I'm having some trouble with the admin interface. I'll get it sorted out and add CHRISTIANA CARE HEALTH SERVICES soon.
