Attached are photos of my 2012 Chrysler 200. I am the EMS Coordinator for our local SAR team, as well as a K9 handler. I work full time as an EMT/Comms for a local EMS agency. The radio installed is a Yaesu 7800 with the remote head mount. Antenna is a Diamond 770 on a trunk NMO mount. I also have a Tram NMO VHF antenna that will be used for a future narrowband VHF for VTAC frequencies. I have (2) Federal Signal LEDs in the car. One red/white in the front windshield and one in the back. Laptop mount is installed and bolted to the seat bolts. Laptop runs our SARTracker software as well as APRS. The back seat has been resurfaced and is used for the K9. Not shown is my SAR pack( the helmet is on top of it). The speaker has been moved and is mounted to the headliner closest to the passenger door.

My K9 partner. She's a 1 year old Catahoula hound. She's in training for Human Remains Detection (wilderness and disaster)

I'm looking at the Powerwerx DB 750x because it supports the 2.5Khz splinter frequencies and is narrowbanded. It's also remote mount capable. For our team Comms and for narrowband VHF I use the new Wouxun KG UV8D with a Smiley extendable antenna

I bought a DB750X last Summer, just because it was there, and for some EOC and ECOMM work I do. It's a decent rig. The power specs were good across the band on U and V, and always get good comments from other operators. The nice thing with it is, you also end up having another Ham rig onboard.

Mine is gokit mounted. I've seen some dissatisfied users comment on the remote mount. Plan on beefing it up to your liking. The programming is RT Systems. Great stuff, and I was already using it on Kenwood and Icom gear, so cross programming is easy.

I have to see what I have left over after I finish paying for Medic school. Then I might make the purchase

I did an install on a 300 for the local PD, a donated car and it was a pain in the rear! Kenwood TK-790H Code 3 Supervisor front bar,Whelen LED Grill lights, slim speaker, touch pad siren/light controller, rear 8 head LED bar and corner Whelen LED's, Routing the cables was the hardest and the trunk mount 5/8 wave VHF was a bear but it turned out nice, I will dig out photos and a video

a 5/8 on the trunk of a 300? That seems a little unsightly.... Did the department not like the phantom antennas ? Installing anything in my 200 has been a pain but I have gotten it to work
