does anyone know the frequency for the chula vista animal shelter operations I have searched through all the business frequencies and cannot figure out if they use VHF or UHF can anyone help.

Yep, they're on the county RCS- south.

Probably FRS then, can't imagine the need for anymore than a couple milliwatts power if they even use radios.

Do you know for sure that they use radios within the shelter? I've been in the public & restricted areas of several shelters in California, and none of them use two-way radios for comms inside the compound. They've used a PBX/intercom system.
