Cigarette Lighter Adapter for PSR 600?

I've been looking around and have been unable to find a cigarette lighter adapter for the PSR 600. Is there such a thing for this scanner?

Yes they do make one. My 600 came with the part that plugs into the radio and an in-line fuse all I had to do was put the "cigarette lighter" part on it.

Thanks for the quick reply...I forgot about that part that plugs into the radio. Where would I get the "cigarette lighter" part? I'm a little slow when it comes to this stuff

Pickup a 270-1509 from Radio Shack. You can easliy add it to the red and black DC cable that came with it. I always suggest the 270-1509 cuase its easy to add and you can change the wires in just a few seconds if you want to use it on another radio. I also keep a spare in the glove box, they come in handy.

Is the same adapter used for the 500?

I found the Medela 9V Lighter Adapter in various baby supply stores.
Its main function is for a breast feeding pump. Will this also work
in scanners?
