Same as the below thread..... (it is JUST a standard USB), however, the 100 is power hungry, so you need to make sure it is heavy duty, or you will get an error

Bearcat Warehouse sells the Uniden USB Dual DC Scanner Power Adapter for $14.90 (plus shipping). It has one USB outlet rated at 2.1 Amps and one USB outlet rated at 1 Amp (see the 3 pictures at the link I provided).

The SDS200 comes with an ac power supply, cigarette lighter adapter, and a 12v harness, for installations in a vehicle.

The SDS100 only comes with an AC adapter, and the USB cable used for charging and programming. No 12v adapter is included.

I routinely use a (standard) 3A, cigarette lighter plug with my Globalsat GPS antenna. It provides enough power to run the antenna and charge (or keep charged) the radio. It works great and I'll use it until I get the internal GPS installed.
