Is anyone hearing any talkgroups being used on the EDACS system for Citizens Energy Group?.This is the sytem for the old Citizens Gas Company and not Citizens Water which is on MECA system 2. I did a search of the fcc license data base and found that the license for Citizens Gas has been cancelled.A Citizen Gas Company employee told me before the they were sold that most of the dispatching was being done by the mobile computer terminal(MDT) in the trucks.I used to hear a lot of radio traffic including voice dispatching of gas leaks, checking gas meters etc.Now I am hearing nothing. Can anyone advise. Thank You.

The Customer Service Center, West St. Steam Plant Rail, and certian of the Security, and loading dock control folks use it still. They are supposed to eventually switch fully over to IDPS system like the Water & Sewerage division, and IPL did. But as of today the EDACS still is used. Active License now: WPCE345

milf, again thanks for the info.I have not heard anything on the EDACS system. Now Citizens Energy has MDT'S in all of the trucks.This would explain why I am not hearing any radio traffic as all voice traffic is not done by MDT.
