City Las Cruces EDACs TRS Rebanding

Anybody out there know for sure if and when the City of Las Cruces will be rebanding to the 700mHz band?

Both my RS and Uniden trunking scanners get a lot of QRM in the Telshor area (Nextel land).

Diob't know about the city radios.

If they reband, I'm sure it won't be down to 700MHz. They should just drop down 15MHz, but because they are so close to the border, they should be the last areas to go.

I'll ask the guys at the City of Las Cruces radio shop. I have not heard of any plans. On the user-side of the system we have had little to no problems.

Rebanding has nothing to do with going to 700 mhz. Here is the article on the subject;
