Radio techs are testing some new consoles/workstations as they say on ID/talkgroup 1, some calls in the clear, some encrypted...talk of keyloading, etc. They call it Securenet...also testing on ID 2...sounds like a technician of Indian decent, when in the clear. Complaints that on talkgroup 2 the console is not picking up the key and working properly, a Tom Diaz mentioned, logging system messed up, mis-labeled. There is one technician that ALWAYS has his radio encrypted...but the other party he is talking to is in the clear sometimes. There are a couple of patches (really bad audio quality) from another system(s) patched in to the p25 system...talkgroups 19478 and 19477. There are pure digital comms also on 19502 (a city pub. works dept perhaps already on the air) and 19499. Private calls also tested, so make sure you have those enabled. Additional update, the consoles they were testing were airport location, they are referring to another location several times as '180'
