I have posted this info already, but yet I haven't received any response. But I think this is a new topic as it is no longer brampton transit. It's the whole City of brampton. It appears that there is key freqs for key users. I will list the frequeicies below and the user on heard on them. I think that I can speak for all say that we are getting closer to solving this one but I ask for your assistance. It is my understanding of the system that the users will use main freqs unless they get busy and then they get put on a different freq. This sytem is under MBC LTR.

937.1750 Transit
937.2000 Transit
937.2250 Chrysler Drive Yard
938.5250 Sandlewood Yard
938.5500 Parking Enforcement
938.6000 Possible freq.
939.1500 Possible freq.
939.1750 Parks
939.2000 Back up Freq.

ID's seem to be
101xxx for transit
109xxx for enforcement
103xxx for works (West side)

I believe I may have found 9 out of 10 freqs. I guess the next challenge once they are all found is to put them in LCN order. I guess I'm missing the key frequency that control the system. It might be 937.0250. Anyone who could assist in this challenge is grealy appreciated. I applogize in advance if this topic is boring.

Thanks
Eddie

Eddie,

You seem to be on the way to figuring the system out. There is no "key frequency" controlling an LTR system, to find. They all operate somewhat autonomously (but not independently).

Try sitting on each channel and noting the Home Repeater (HH) part of the IDs (A-HH-GGG format), during a fairly quiet time when a lot of trunking-out to other channels is not happening. That will give you the HR number of the channel you are on. That is the sequence needed to program most scanners.

Don't feel too bad if people aren't jumping in to help. Commercial systems in general and LTR have much lower interest level than PD/FD/EMS systems. In my region, there seems to be approximately zero interest in figuring out LTR systems.
