Interesting developements in the local municipality.

1. Easley Fire Dept's 154.1450 license was mistakenly allowed to expire. An emergency FCC filing allowed the FD to continue to dispatch on the channel pair.

2. Easley Police Dept has added another UHF frequency 453.6125 PL 123.0 and let the 154.8450/159.0300 frequencies expire. Is the PD moving to only have UHF radios in use?

3. The old city utility frequency of 153.4850 was not updated to narrowband probably because the repeater is too old. This channel will probably be allowed to be cancelled by the FCC.

154.84500 131.8 PL is still active. Don't know who is using it however.

153.48500 131.8 PL Still being used by Easley FD as of two days ago.

Easley ha used 453.6125 for about a year but mostly for football security. 154.845 is still used by Rutherford Co w/ PL 167.9

Didn't know about the 453.6125 since I live in Travelers Rest most of the time now. I saw it on the FCC ULS site. I also heard a rumor that Easley had tested a Mototrbo repeater in 2012.

I guess we will see what the FCC is really going to do about local governments flaunting the rules.

The 154.1450 mhz is the Fire Dept dispatch. The 155.7750 mhz is the Easley Rescue response coordination channel which with only 50 watts ERP, I am surprised it is readable in Startex. Firefighter89 must be in a very good location. The 155.0400 is the city administrative channel.

Yeah, loud and clear in Startex. I'm using the stock portable antenna too.

The only Pickens County channels I can't get are Central FD & PD and Easley PD.
