City of Edmond Interference???

I don’t know if its my antenna or what, but I seem to be having a bit of a noise problem lately listening to Edmond. It’s really staticy sometimes and cuts in and out. I haven had this problem up until about a week ago. Like I said, it could be my equipment, but I don’t think so as they have worked perfectly about a year or so. Has anyone else experienced these problems? Thanks!

I have never really had a good decode of Edmond myself either ..

It could be that there has been a new cell or nextell tower built in your area. I have the same problem here in Tulsa. Drive around your area and see if there is any of those types of towers that are in your line of sight. If there is it could well be that. Also it could be the new OKC EDACS system interfering as well.

Occasionally, I'll get bad reception on the upper splinter channels (868.375 and 858.725), but the others usually come in ok. I have a lot of background noise at my listening post, but the height certainly helps (In downtown OKC ~180' AGL). I generally get >96% accuracy on trunker while monitoring Edmond.
