City of Franklin Police & Fire

I am trying to find some information on frequencies for the City of Franklin PD & FD.

I have found some information in regards to the SAFE-T system and believe they may be using that. I am not sure if they have any other channels that they are using either. I have programmed the channels in that I have found here and only rarely hear a transmission, which leads me to believe I am doing something wrong.

I have a BCD396T from Uniden, and have setup two different banks, one as Motorola I Standard and one as Motorola II Standard....I did not hear anything on the Apco setup. I also see that there is Hex information and I am unclear if this is important and if it is how I use that to program the scanner.

I would also like to set up the fire tone out that the scanner can do, using Franklin Fire.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Assuming you have programmed the frequencies for the Johnson County SAFE-T tower in your BCD396T, my first question is do you have it in the ID Search, or the ID Scan mode? I live in Northern In but that looks to be a pretty big system. If you had all frequencies programmed, and are in the ID Search mode, I'm certain you would hear something.

It pays to play with it......

I did play with it more, and found that if you leave it at a Motorola I or II it works...I did also discover like schnit suggested about the search and scan feature... once I put in search I found more.

If anyone has Trunk ID's for Franklin PD or FD beyond what is listed on this site I would appreciate it.

Man I have been away to long, what happen to just typing in your frequency and enjoying.... The ARC396 program does help once you get use to if you have a Uniden scanner btw.

Hello, Joey,

All the talkgroups you see listed in the database are all there is. I'm confident in saying we have every talkgroup listed that is assigned to Johnson County. If it aint there, it don't exist

One more request if anyone has the data,

This scanner has the ability to do the Fire Tone Out ability. Does anyone happen to have the Hz that is used for the tones?
