Any idea if PD is also going onto the system?
Well, it comes down to $$$$$ and politics....it's Hartford, and sad. Totally agree with you. This x100. There is no excuse for any municipality to continue to operate a radio system that is no longer supported for so long. No excuse. Unfortunately this is such a common thread around this country where communications systems are badly neglected for years and years. It's often the first item to be cut from a department's budget sadly. Cities have so much wasteful spending that could go into something so important as this.
In the clear. at least for this TG. Waiting to see if other depts go to this system.Hartford Fire Dispatch is on TG 16410 and in the clear.
no word that I could find yet. Maybe they did fire first. time will tell.Any idea if PD is also going onto the system?

It was announced years ago, then went no where ... but that was the plan. Use the existing State radio infrastructure rather than build one of their own. They cannot stay on EDACS.
You probably wont. No reason to be there unless a unit was in that area.I am not hearing Hartford Fire on the Troop E sites in Niantic.
