it is a budgetary quote from Motorola that outlines the old radio trade in program for new APX mobiles and portables w/ AES encryption... Thats what I found interesting, also outlines a new encrypted P25 simulcast system with new consoles, outdoor warning system, and EOC

Also, although McKinney requested AES encryption the quote only includes ADP encryption which Motorola includes at no extra charge.

I heard about this some months ago. What I wonder if they'll go system wide encryption even on Dispatch?

Will be interesting to see, Max. I suspect they won't go for full encryption, but time will tell. Maybe that's just wishful thinking, though....
