Looking through the database, can someone give me a breakdown of City if Poughkeepsie Fire frequency use. I’m assuming they are dispatched on PFD Dispatch, respond on OPS 1 and use FG 1 on scene...can someone confirm ? As far as the others, limited use or active ?

And while I’m on Dutchess, is Northern Dutchess ALS on 452.100 or 452.425. Looks like .100 is licensed to them but Grabala grabbed .425.

Dispatch and response is done on 453.650
Ops 1 453.4875 (Repeater) is for on scene communications that doesn't involve a fire.
FG 1 458.4875 (Simplex) is simplex on the input for OPS 1, this is used for fires. This was done so units would not be stepped on by the repeater, and that the city 911 center could still monitor fire ground activity in case there was mayday that was missed by the IC.

Ops 2/FG 2 was meant for EMS. The original plan was to have EMS dispatched and response on that channel.

Ops 3 is occasionally used at larger incidents among command staff.

FG 3 and 4 do not see a lot of use, but they are in the radios.

Thanks 62Truck. The simplex FG on the repeater input is common out on Long Island as well for the same reason.

Its really a smart move. You don't have to worry about the repeater taking someone out on simplex, and those who are not close or enroute can monitor what is going on via the repeater output.
