For anyone who wants to use TwoToneDetect to monitor Red Deer FD on talkgroup 2421, you can set up email alerting on a per-hall basis. Here are the tones:

Red Deer City (RDES FD) (AFFRCS TG 2421)

Station 1:
A: 1092.4 (189)
B: 979.9 (130)

Station 2:
A: 496.8 (148)
B: 726.8 (155)

Station 3:
A: 979.9 (130)
B: 1092.8 (189)

Station 4:
A: 313.0 (109)
B: 928.1 (129)

Station 5:
A: 688.3 (154)
B: 1092.4 (189)

ADMIN (all halls)
Longtone: 600.9 (121)

The admin pages are sent to broadcast staffing levels for each shift, or other useful information. Sometimes it's just testing.

Can you send me a pm please if you are able as I don’t like to communicate too much in a public forum. If not then I’ll see about posting my questions and personal comment [emoji4]

I’ve had no issues with a few others actually but I am curious is this available anywhere in Alberta or just Red Deer

Sorry no I’m just on here to read and I do not like to engage in public forums but to make it short was just wondering if this email thing is open to public or for first responders only? I was curious if this is available anywhere else?

If you have a scanner, you can make use of the information. Use the program I mentioned in the first post. Set up your email. There’s nothing secret about any of this.

Nothing encrypted. Nothing proprietary. Just a way to selectively listen for specific station.

Sadly, a majority of Red Deer‘s calls are for “needle pickups”. I don’t want to listen to that crap all day. I’d rather just listen for station five, for example, which is in the north part of Red Deer.

Thanks I’m not actually from southern Alberta but was just inquiring as it was sounding quite interesting. Is this feature available anywhere else in the province or just Red Deer City?
