If a customer doesn’t need coverage outside of a specific site, those ID’s are typically entered to only work on that site and not multicast out others.
With that being said, that’s a great way to narrow down the TG user to an area that would be near that site and ID’d
Greetings All … I’m new to this site :.. and I found this thread … I was just curious … does this mean that we cannot listen to Vineland PD / EMS / Fire ???

According to the database, Vineland is currently operating on this system: Vineland City Trunking System, Vineland, New Jersey I imagine that everyone will eventually be migrating over to the new NXDN system: City of Vineland Trunking System, Vineland, New Jersey Which scanners do you have?

What is the purpose of the NXDN system? Considering the number of frequencies and sites, it's hard to believe that they would go to NJICS after the expense of building out that system.
Hard as it might be for you to believe, it has already happened. Public safety is now on the NJICS system.

Vineland has migrated to the NJICS statewide trunked system. New Jersey Interoperability Communications System (NJICS) Trunking System, Statewide, Multi-State Talkgroups are in the process of being updated in the database. You will need a P25 Phase 2 capable scanner. The Cumberland County site is simulcast. Depending upon your location, you may experience receive problems with any radios other than the Uniden SDS100/SDS200 scanners and Unication G4/G5 pagers. Much of law enforcement is encrypted and cannot be received by any scanner. Talkgroups with a Mode of TE are fully encrypted. Talkgroups with a Mode of Te are encrypted part of the time. Talkgroups with a Mode of T are clear to receive. Which scanners do you have?

You are in good shape with the SDS100. The BCD436HP may or may not work well depending upon your location. The BCT15 and HP1 cannot receive the NJICS system. The BCT15 is analog only and the HP1 is P25 Phase 1 only. If ever needed, the BCD436HP and SDS100 can be upgraded to receive DMR and NXDN.
As has been documented in this thread and the RRDB entry, the NXDN system encompasses everything non-public safety related: City services, schools, etc

A few other unconfirmed I caught while conditions were favorable earlier this morning:
TGID-57: Sounds like security of some sort, clearing folks from senior center back elevator?

I am coming up with at least 11 unknown TGID that aren’t yet in the DB that sound like there schools, but as Vineland has about 15 schools it’s hard to tell which one there at . I’m guessing each one probably has its own TGID plus maybe the administration building.
These are the schools I have logged thus far:

As of this morning 11/7/24 i am not hearing any schools or buses on the system. public works and utilities are still coming over. anyone else or is this on my end?
Schools are closed today and tomorrow for a teacher convention and Monday for Veterans Day.
