I hadn't seen a post yet, so I figured I would throw something up. Obviously the Pentagon has invoked the Civil Reserve Air Fleet for the airlift out of Afghanistan. For anybody who isn't keeping track, thus far it includes American Airlines (3), Atlas Air (3), Delta Air Lines (3), Hawaiian Airlines (2), Omni Air International (3), Eastern Airlines (1) and United Airlines (4).
Delta, Hawaiian, and United are using their civilian callsigns. Atlas is using their civilian callsign and the U.S. Transportation Command "Camber" callsign. Omni and Eastern have just been using Camber. American has been using their civilian callsign and the AMW REACH callsign.
Routes so far have been al-Udeid Air Base (Doha), Qatar, to Ramstein AFB or Fankfurt-Hahn, Germany, then on to Washington Dulles.
Atlas, Eastern, and Omni have been using some UHF. The domestic airliners are using the usual. Some sat comms have been intercepted.
Military and milcom discussion...PLEASE...no politics.
