Does anyone know the freq(s) for CL&P or Northeast Utilities covering Farmington Valley. I think they are based in Simsbury but I could be wrong.

Do a FCC search either via the FCC website or thru RR.com. All the lowband channels are still valid. Supposely they are moving to highband stuff, but all the LB channels are still in use.

I did a search on the database the other day, it is all under Northeast Utilities. They have over 300 licenses, some being microwave. The lowband stuff appears to be used statewide, there are UHF repeaters at a number of generating stations, and I think there was a VHF repeater in there somewhere. It also appears they are moving to a 896-901/935-940 MHz trunked system. I'm still trying to sort through all the frequencies to figure out what I can hear in my area.

48.34 is the Area work center in Simsbury Main Channel
37.76 is Bristol out of Cheshire AWC also Newington New Britain and Berlin

A general rule of Thumb I have found is the 37 range is old Cl and P and the 47 and 48 is old HELCO.. Hartford downtown is 47.90 "underground " and 48.20 Overhead

Rumor has it they are going 900 mhz
