Ok, well, maybe not all the way yet.

It was interesting for a while because the control channel was on 853.2625 but all the voice traffic was still on the 867-868 frequencies.

As of now it sounds like they're still tuning things, and everything is back to the "original" configuration now, or so it seems.

They started the transition on Monday...I heard the announcement on CCOM LAW 1 to all units that radio traffic should be kept to a minimum while they do transition.

Yeah, still not 100%. One or two channels operating on rebanded freqs, the rest are still pre-rb freqs. There should be some more work today, they had to have something air expressed in from Schaumberg according to what I heard the techs talking about this morning.

Looks like a switched was flipped. Lost the control channels on the old stuff about 15 ago.

It seems like so far that the controllers are first trying to pick 866.3000 as the first voice channel then it trys the new stuff.

Channels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 have been retuned; 7 is pending (both pre- and post- rb freqs 851 866.8500 are offline) 8, 9, and 10 are still pre-rb.

Sounds like they have to visit a couple of other sites and do some tx maintenance and install filters according to what the techs are saying.

I show them on 853.2625 where they've been since they adjourned for breakfast at 08:00 or so this morning.

But, yes, the C800 trunk system is a subsidiary of the WCCCA system.

Is control channel the only re-banded freq being used? C800 System sounds good on feed FYI.

Thanks.

Right now, the first 6 frequencies have been retuned from their 866-869 assignments to their 851-854 assignments. Channel 7 has been retuned, but is apparently not keying at all sites so they will continue to work on that tonight. Channel 7 (851.8500) is being used to transmit the CWID every 30 minutes.

Channels 8, 9 and 10 are still broadcasting on the pre-rebanding 866-869 frequency assignments. Not sure if they'll get these finished up tonight or not.

BTW, the feed radios are now fed from an 6db gain 800MHz omni stick. The Clackamas County Law receiver was swapped out with a BCD996XT yesterday afternoon so that I could use the other scanner for data stream monitoring.

All four of the feeds I stream now contain alpha tagging in the stream when listening with WinAmp and/or the Java web player (and maybe others but those are the only ones I know about). I also fixed a programming error where transmissions on 866.3000 and 866.8500 were not being broadcast (the rebanding bandplan didn't account for channel numbers above 600 properly).

Thank you Joe for the update.

The scanner feed sounds 100% better then month ago. Thank you for hard work keeping feeds up.

Am I missing something? I re-programmed my BCT8 to the Clackamas frequencies, but I think I am missing a frequency or something. There will be traffic on a TG, but it is not picking it up on my scanner, but other times it picks it up just fine.
