Clarify Please: GSP In Atlanta

A question:

Is the GSP Metro Troop on:

The Atlanta (CITY) TRS?
or
The State TRS (IN) Atlanta?

There are listings on both, and the TG ID's are (sort of) close.
Maybe one needs to be removed?

Also are the GSP still on VHF in any way in the Metro area?
If, so are the old frequencies still good?

Troop C covers Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, and Clayton. Troop C troopers are using TG's on the City of Atlanta TRS for operations inside fulton county only. The Atlanta TRS doesnt reach any of the other counties therefore they are still using the VHF repeater for everything else. They are NOT using the state of ga TRS at this time. I have heard from various troopers that a state wide TRS (much like FL or SC) has been planned for a few years now but the state doesnt have the money to build it yet.
Basically if your in metro atlanta and you want to hear all GSP traffic you would have to be scanning the Atlanta TRS GSP TG's, AND the VHF repeater.

I just had a layover in Atlanta, and the information is correct.

Another question:
Does anyone know how the patrol zones are organized?

I don't believe they have specific patrol zones (GSP), they normally hunt in packs!
