I assume you got the upgrade to NXDN from Uniden? I also went and got the key, will try it out on my next few days off. New stuff to learn.

Yep. Haven't had a chance to go out and look for new signals, what I posted is what I'm able to hear on my HT in the house and they still sounded good with only a couple bars.
When you do purchase the key, make sure the credit card transaction goes through, Several customers, including myself, received our keys but were never charged and had to redo the purchase process all over again.

There's chatter on the Thunderbird Ops freq 235.5250 and they handed out 283.525 for Fire Control which is Creech SFA..
Im hearing it was a mid-air between 2 Thunderbirds, one made it back, the other didnt. Status of the pilot from the plane that went down is unknown.

I had noted that plane as well. It has a fake ICAO. Registration is N6091F.

I don't agree totally with the newspaper article in that it does appear to be a real company rather than a cut out. However they are doing government surveillance.

Just heard a EAM on 323.8!! Don't know what it means but was cool to hear and know I have the ability to hear it!!

I have that and 311.0 in my radio. 311.0 is another EAM freq, the NAOCs also use it to talk to each other.
