I have that and 311.0 in my radio. 311.0 is another EAM freq, the NAOCs also use it to talk to each other.

323.80 is basically a STRATCOMWINGONE common channel, usually air-air comms between the E-6Bs but also sometimes ops with their ground operating locations. 311.00 is a USAF Global Strike Command primary, & before that, was a longtime Strategic Air Command primary UHF channel for air/ground & air-air.

NSRS settings

I don't know if you guys listen to the NHP on the EDACS system? I fiddled with the expert settings on my GRE scanners and I'm noticing improved catches and better trunking by changing the following settings. Factory default for EDACS trunking is Endtone 10 unmute delay 18 holdoff 35 I lowered them to 7/14/25 and it seems a little easier to follow the conversations. Note that I have 5 sites in the valley all on. I hope this little bit of info helps others with GRE scanners?

Seeing a new unencrypted talkgroup active on the Nevada National Security Site TRS -- TG 9664

Im not 100% sure but it might be range control for R4808 which runs through NNSS

Im hearing the callsigns RANGE, MEDIC 1, LYNDELL, RV, and several others.

Was out and about and noticed the Close Call on my 436HP got a hit on 155.5950. Records show this to be a Metro Tac channel. Anyone know who, besides Aero and SAR, is still using the VHF tacs?

Getting hits on SNACC TGs 1209 and 2027, neither are in the database...

1209 sounds like a PD Records channel

2027 is being used for a special event -- "I need to go back and drop cones at Commerce."

Anybody listening to whats going on on Highway 93 by the Bridge going into AZ? I am listening to Az DPS responding to some sort of situation up there involving an armed person. They have a helicopter overhead and are stopping northbound traffic near Rosies Den. I didn't hear the initial report of whats happening.. Sounds pretty major.

Boulder Dam Bypass blocked

Protestor doing stupid stuff blocking 93 across the bridge, BCPD TGID 1915 on SNACC. NHP also there, words of METRO PD but they are encrypted so who knows? Now would be a good time to try and find the patch channel NHP to METRO?

Great Work!

Bryan that’s great work! Trying to get all these patches aligned when they do a radio rodeo is very hard.

A member of the Vegas Area Radio Geek Alerting Network happened to notice that the American Ninja Warrior show course was back at the usual spot between McCarran International Airport & The Luxor, and a quick reaction team deployed early this morning to prosecute the target.

A couple low-power analog-voice FM UHF simplex channels were found for Timing, Audio, & Safety teams & the couple people keeping track of the Ninja Teams (this morning's filming was Team USA vs Team Australia), but a fairly large-profile channel that anyone in the LV area with decent capabilities should easily hear is 457.000MHz/DCS712. It's an Intercom/IFB system used by the directors & various cameras, etc. As-is often the case with these production intercom/IFB systems, the main transmitter seems to have a 24/7 duty-cycle, and the RF carrier can still be heard right now at my home about 5 miles away. You just won't hear any audio traffic on it until whenever they get back to work & plug-in their headsets, etc.

They wrapped for the morning at 4:36AM, with some comms continuing until about 5AM.

The schedule shows that they will be filming more episodes over the next couple mornings.

LV filming schedule: American Ninja Warrior

Warning: I know some of you are pretty delicate people -- there is frequent profanity on the 457.0MHz circuit.
