There have been plenty of requests for them from PD & FD the last couple days with these storms, but I've yet to hear them on SNACC. Anyone know where they're hiding?

Geez. You'd think the county would put them on SNACC with everyone else.

Yeah, but maybe a funding or system-loading issue? Not that I camp-out on their VHF repeater often, but it doesn't seem to be very busy on a normal day.

If they're smart, they'll at least have DPW supervisors equipped with VHF/800MHz handhelds & mobiles.
