Clark county's remote site at Cascade Locks has been rebanded and is operational on the new freqs. The old 866-869MHz freqs. for that site are silent.
It is putting out a good signal, since I monitored it clearly in Portland this morning.
I think this is the first rebanded site operating in our area.

I think you may be hearing site 2, Yacolt Mt. Do you have a scanner that shows the site ID? Cascade Locks seems like it may be too far to hear from Portland. I can hear the 852.2375 control channel also and it displays site 2.

I think you're right. I re-checked the FCC database and it also lists Yacolt Mt. with those freqs. Cascade Locks is quite a stretch from Portland. :)

Not much that I have heard. I do hear them alot on the SWWMC and Legacy Salmon Creek hospital talkgroups when they are doing a transport. Otherwise they use UHF for their admin type chat.
