OK, I know that every agency in the county pretty much has got FCC approval for TRBO, and most also have TRBO capable gear. Is there any news when everyone else besides SO will flip the switches over?

Other than the Road Dept (change submitted today) which went full TRBO on day one of operation last year, the answer would be no. All other systems are still in analog mode, (including the 3 SO systems), have not heard any discussion of flipping the switch.

Yeah SO is an interesting bird there. 3 analog primary, 2 analog private, a AWIN TG, and a TRBO repeater. Wondering if they run the TRBO as a tac/specail ops since not to many can recieve the TRBO there currently. Then again, it may be encrypted also. I listen to the online feed and sometimes you can hear in the background the digital audio as someone talks on it and the dispatcher is on analog at the same time.
