I had asked this back before Christmas but never got any responses. i am going to be working on a construction project up at the Palisades center mall in nyack which is in town of clarkstown for a few days. Does anyone know what frequencies the clarkstown highway department uses? I am especially interested because of the snow that is supposed to happen tonight. i don't think that they use the lowband frequencies in the database anymore - they were totally silent every time I have been in that area, even during snow storms. through a search I found that Rockland county highway dept switched to an ltr system called "goosetown". Does anyone know if clarkstown dpw switched also?? The police still use the vhf channel in the database.

clarkstown DPW is on goosetown communications UHF Passport trunking system, you can not track it with a trunk tracking scanner, and i can not remember for the life of me the UHF frequencies. if you had the frequencies you could put them in and listen in conventional, but the idle tones will drive you nuts.
