Can any of you guys down there in the Rockland County area confirm if Clarkstown PD has moved over to the new P25 Phase 2 system yet?

No. However I did hear some encrypted traffic on their P25 TAC channel yesterday. I do not know what the situation is with them

Thanks guys. As a former Valley Cottage resident, I'm a regular listener of the Rockland County feed here on RR. I don't believe the feed provider has a GRE 800, so I'm getting myself prepared for the silence :-(

Which TAC is that u are talking about? The trunked talkgroup or the VHF?

Monitoring Clarkstown it seems there SIU channel is encrypted on trunked system

As of this morning Clarkstown PD is operating on the 700mhz system.

The 700 system has a tact group for a few of the larger PD's.

Unfortunately I am unable to hear them at this moment at least until someone sets up a feed or I'm able to get one of the new scanners. ( hey, a guy can dream)
