I’ve been trying to listen for any schools in clay county and I haven’t heard anything even after looking at the frequency’s listed, there a little out of date but there definitely using some form of digital frequency

First time hearing about the p25 system, I operate with a raddiodity GD-88 with the included rubber ducky antenna and I’ve gotten nothing from my end.
I remember Clay Cnty School buses were on analog vhf. Than they switched to DMR Conv vhf. So they are on the p25? Maybe I'll check that out next month. Putnam at one time was on low band til they switched to the FFT system.
Want to add that it seems anytime I see DMR attributed to a signal, it almost ALWAYS schools. For some reason, DMR is super commonly used by schools (everywhere)
The 158.895 and Council on Aging 155.865 repeaters are silent.
They are on the Clay P25 Trs.

Good info. I'll check them out next month when in the area. I don't know if they will use area 1 through 8??
No the Document I read between the County and School Board said they were assigned 5 Talkgroups on the system. Those 4 plus Tg 800 ENC which is the School Police Tg. Not sure if it's just a C2C for them are they are now dispatching themselves. A Friend just quit the school police ,but he had told me Green Cove Springs Police Dispatches for them. Now yesterday I ran a discovery and the disp console 1022 showed up on Tg 600 (GCSPD) and TG 800 so they maybe using it as Dispatch Tg now. They may have area 1-4 on 1 Tg and 5-8 on that Tg 851.

Can confirm I did hear the sch bus on the p25 system.
