Fiance? She will tolerate your scanners for the first few weeks, then you will have them allocated to your 1/100th of the house! But, don't take one with you when you decide to take her off for a weekend and you see a major incident happen, she will gladly let you have one with you always!

Fire Codes

Does anyone have the fire codes for Clayton County Fire?
I heard a unit responding to a code 50

was it possibly 53? thats a suicide attempt or successful suicide.


never heard of a 50, but have heard plenty of times them calling a Signal 53.


look at the codes/signals for PD, they share the same codes/signals county wide, hence why Code/signal 53 for PD and SO is the same thing for FD/EMS, Suicide Attempt or Actual Suicide

your Code is - 50 - Respond/Investigate a Person Shot. in this case you should have heard dispatch calling the area SECURE by PD or SO, or to stage until secured

Thanks so much... It is the same her for the Sheriffs office in Rockdale, but I've never heard a FD dispatch use codes. But they did again this evening for a 51 - stabbing. That one I knew because I heard it on the PD channel.

yeah thats clayton's idea of simplicity, use everything for everyone. i actually like it, makes it easy to remember and track whats going on between agencies
