Is there a way to clean up the front end of the SDR so I don't see one repeater show up on multiple frequencies?
I have a hotel less than a mile from me and every time it keys up, I get the same signal on multiple frequencies on the spectrum display, of course there is no radio traffic on those spurs. Being in the Los Angeles metro area this must be happening I would think with other repeaters.
Thanks, Randy

Depending on what you are using for a SDR and how much gain you're applying to it this will be a relatively common occurrence. Try reducing gain, using a narrower display of spectrum, or ideally if you're using a RTL dongle, consider upgrading if possible to an Airspy R2 or SDRPlay device.

I reduced the gain and that cleaned it up. I was getting three National weather service transmissions on a non NWS frequency, not anymore. A rookie mistake that I should have figured out myself. I guess that's old timers disease kicking in. To much gain makes you hear too much.
Thanks for the assist.
