Clearing memory on pro-97

Can't clear the entire memory from a used radio shack PRO-97 scanner. It does not have a greeting screen upon startup, can anyone help on this ???

Did you try just turning it on and then immediately hitting 0 then 1, regardless of whether you see a welcome screen?

Yes, screen says "please select factory tests"
