again seen a clearwater fire truck on scene. no dispatched out on pinellas system. frend told me they might be on uhf have searched all freq in the databas for some time now. any body lead me in the right direction.

They do dispatch on Pinellas cpunty. There is a UHF page also/
If they are Really busy.during a storm, they will dispatch on their low priority TG

Clearwater FD

They are using the County Analog 800mhz trunking system. All units have MDC computers and can place themselves on a call without going through dispatch. So that may have been what happened. Otherwise they are dispatched as normal and they do not have UHF system that i know of.

thanks guys some day when i am in clearwater my daughter lives there if i see them out but not busy i am going to stop an ask them if they dont tell me to f off what tag they are on if they know it.
