Cleveland Area Fire Buffs

Does anyone know if there is still a fire buff club (might be wrong on the name) in the Cleveland area. Use to listen to them years ago. Had there freq.logged in a old computer that is long gone. It was somewhere in the 400 MHz.

Cleveland FireDepartment and all city of cleveland police and services are on a digital vselp system now and cant be heard anymore until they upgrade to apco-25 complaint radios that can be monitored by a digital scanner. :!:

I don't know what their frequency is, either.

I use to belong to the club when I lived in Cleveland until 1999. Now I live in Charlotte, NC and we really do not have such a group here. The Western Reserve Fire Buffs Association (or WRFBA) was born in 1971. You can go to their web site at:

The seb site says the freq is 462.600 but I do not know if it is still active or not. It was in 1999.

462.600 still works, with a PL of 77.0... I'm sure it's them, they were asking each other for freqs for East Cleveland Fire Department...
