Cleveland fire crews responded around 3pm to west 83rd and Madison for multiple calls of a house explosion. Upon going en route a large header was seen and the worker/rit were started.
First engine on scene advised one house on the ground fully involved and 2 houses also well involved. He requested for as many ems units as were available. It turns out only 4 minor injuries occurred.

At this time the fire is out.

At least 25-40 people are displaced and as many as 15 homes are uninhabitable. The red cross is assisting these victims.

At this time 630pm the initial crews are going back to quarters and relief crews are enroute to continue salvage/overhaul/ and searches.
