Cliff collapsed just south of Ponto state beach. 1 fatality 3 others hurt 1 flown by REACH.. Units on scene now. Happened just before 3pm today. Fire command 3E San Diego RCS. Grand view IC.
Heavy equipment on scene now working. Life Guard tower south of the collapse about 100 ft was manned, Rescue arrived in 4 min. Cadaver dogs worked the area with no hits on extra bodies buried. Doing what they can before high tide. Encinitas SO ENC TAC20 Park rangers Aqua channel. ME just arrived on scene. Scanning.

1144 being removed at this time, prayers for the family and all involved. Personal effects being removed to Moonlight beach Life Guard Station soon. Soil engineer at beach now looking at soil collapse. Permission granted to continue work by soil engineer, working the pile of sand stone to look for maybe others.
