SLO City Fire and CALFIRE engines along with their Technical Rescue Team are on scene of Bishops Peak. 3 parties are trapped - 2 with moderate injuries and 1 standing by. Helicopter is enroute.

Thanks for the tip. My buddy and I hiked up the easy portion back when I was in college. Never even considered going higher. We were high enough as it was.

P.S. Living in OC now and knowing the resources we are able to bring to these situations, it's interesting to be able to still hear this in progress over three hours after the first call. (No offense... my heart is still in SLO.)
