I have noticed that I receive very little Troop K Dispatch activity and when I look in the Broadcastify Calls archives pretty much matches what I hear, I see like 17 seconds of transmission per hour, is there an alternate talk group they are using or do they do most of their communicating with the field via MDT? I receive plenty of other traffic (troop F for example) just Troop K seems to be silent. I have looked in the Broadcastify Calls under Troop K simulcast and Troop F simulcast and see both have the same level of non-existent traffic for the troop K dispatch talk group (451) Thoughts?

They just aren't that busy however, I would advise caution with using Broadcastify to judge how busy a talkgroup is. The feed could be from an adjacent Troop simulcast and there is not always someone affiliated to K. Could be that the feeding radio has a lot of other talkgroups and doesn't always catch traffic from K. Could be that they are using a scanner that does not do well on simulcast. Could be that they turn the radio or some groups off as night. There are a lot of towns with constables and others with no patrols. Some traffic guys put most of their stops on the MDT and don't talk unless they have an issue or need a wrecker.
Using Troop C subsystem, I count 300+ transmissions on K in the last 24 hours and that is with almost every group monitored from that site.
Troop G is one of the busiest Troops on the system yet there are times that there are no recordings for several hours. Very unlikely, D perhaps, but not G.

Agree with both of your observations. I also monitor Troop K traffic (from the Troop C Simulcast Site) and record (to Trunking Recorder). I count 321 calls on 2/13 for TG 451/Troop K Dispatch 1. I have no hits for the TG 453/Troop K Dispatch 2... Does not seem super busy radio traffic-wise...
