Troop I is now west zone Site 14 RFSS 3
Roger that thank you!Troop I is now west zone Site 14 RFSS 3
I'm guessing that the 14 is hex?Troop I is now west zone Site 14 RFSS 3
Decimal 14 equals hex of " E ".I'm guessing that the 14 is hex?
and decimal 20 equals 14 hex thats why I want to confirm whether it is hex or decimalDecimal 14 equals hex of " E ".
I verified this as correct. I reprogrammed both of my G4 devices utilizing " E " and got an immediate control channel lock on Troop I Bethany.and decimal 20 equals 14 hex thats why I want to confirm whether it is hex or decimal
Thanks, Mike. It's RFSS 3 Decimal 14. The DB has been updated. Troop B will likely switch to RFSS 3, Decimal 12 shortly.
negative. These changes only affect equipment which rely on said updates, which your unit is not affected.Does that mean I have to reprogram control channels for my 996P2?
I got my SDR on B, I'll keep you postedIt's RFSS 3 Decimal 14. The DB has been updated. Troop B will likely switch to RFSS 3, Decimal 12 shortly.
I have noticed that with all the flurry of changes in the Western part of the state, and associated database changes, the site neighbor data, when you dwell on each troop simulcast site, has not been updated...
Don't worry mike I don't even know what "dwelling on a simulcast site" is or how to do it in the data base, so everything looks great to me LOLThat information hasn't been provided to me, otherwise I would add it in. My source has only given the Site ID/RFSS data on these changes.
I see what you're saying, that's an easy enough fix. When I have some time I'll go through it. I may wait until B has finally moved, so everything is completed at once. When the site ID changes, i.e Troop I Simulcast was 29, is now 14, that data should change concurrently under neighbor sites.
Troop A was site 22, is now 11. Naugatuck was site 32, is now 21. Troop G was site 21, now it is 13. These are examples.
What the neighbor site data indicates is what additional site simulcasts are carried a particular site. Generally, they are adjacent sites. For example, if you scan just the Troop H site, you will not only hear "H" traffic over the "H" simulcast, but traffic from Troop's B, C, F, I, K and the downtown Hartford Simulcast. Knowing this may help someone to monitor a particular troop simulcast they would not normally be able to receive directly.Don't worry mike I don't even know what "dwelling on a simulcast site" is or how to do it in the data base, so everything looks great to me LOL
